I created an Instagram Reel but found some problems with it.

Last week I created a reel for my Instagram account Notes by aintenna. Here’s a screenshot of the reel cover:

This is the instagram reel cover for one of the reels in OP's instagram account.
Instagram reel cover for one of my reels: Slow and soft living.

I wanted to show my existing and potential followers on Instagram about why I choose to start living slowly and softly.

I also have drafted a blog post, but I chose to not publish it. Why?

Because I felt that both the reel and blog post draft don’t feel genuine.

What's the reason? I used ChatGPT to generate the draft and captions for the reel.

I have started to enjoy slow and soft living even though I started small. Every time I wake up I avoid being online until at least an hour later. I have also started doing some stretching before my shower. It feels very nice to start a day slowly and without much noise.

Honestly what I have experienced so far doesn’t match with what I wanted to show in the draft and the reel.

When you watch that reel, everything looks and feels fake (I used stock videos from Canva). That’s not my room. That’s not my curtain. That’s not my coffee. That’s not my cat. That bush in the slow-mo clip? I don’t know that place. None of these is real.

I asked ChatGPT to outline the blog post and then write a draft. I read it. It felt very generic, and I can’t relate to any part of it at all. I ended up having the draft shelved.

The reel is still on Instagram though. But I will prep a carousel post to talk about it.

Check out the official account: @notesbyaintenna. Cheers!

With warmth, Nurul.
